Destination Imagination
Destination Imagination (DI) is a global, volunteer-led nonprofit organization that hosts Team Challenges for students who want to take on the entire creative process—from imagination to innovation.
DI offers an experience, through which—as one parent told us—kids find their superpowers. Working in teams to solve STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths) challenges, quiet children come alive.
Kids who like things their way realize how much better their ideas are with input from their teammates and if your child hasn’t found his or her niche yet? No problem. DI introduces kids to a wide range of ideas, skills, and techniques while solving challenges, their way!
Students who participate in DI build lifelong friendships, self-esteem, and creative problem-solving skills.
Teams have represented 35+ Pakistan in the largest celebration of creativity at Global Finals in person in 2018 and 2022 and online in 2020 and 2021. It was an amazing experience for everyone. It was heart-warming to see Pakistani Flag in the parade and to hear the national anthem at the welcome ceremony. Our teams participated in 40+ workshops, trade pins, meet teams from 15+ countries, and attended 10+ events at Global Finals.

Destination Imagination and Lumen Technologies have partnered and bring ImagineX a STEM learning challenge program for underserved students. The Challenge is designed for students who don't have access to learner-centered experiences like Destination Imagination due to economic and other barriers. This project is being supported by Lumen Technology.
Teams will receive all the material when they sign up for the program. Teams can do the project in the classroom or as part of an after-school program.
This Challenge can be completed by students of all ages — allowing them to explore robotics, artificial intelligence, video production, acting, world history, and storytelling as they create their solution. The Challenge is learner-centered so students can pursue topics of interests and personal strengths. They will learn how to work with a team, manage a project, and use the creative process
