I coached a 2016-17 DI team in the UAE. It was the first tournament hosted here thanks to Urooj and it was an excellent learning experience for all those who participated - coaches, appraisers, and the team members. My team thoroughly enjoyed the DI experience over a course of about 5 months. During the course of the project not only did they enhance their problem solving skills and learn to let out their creative abilities, but they also made fond memories of friendship with their teammates.

DI’s aged-focused activities and challenges instill creativity and learning skills in young minds. I have seen phenomenal increase in my son's ability to learn new things, ask questions and in many cases - even question the very validity of what has been shown or said to him. I have faith that programs like Destination Imagination play a critical role in child mental development which in long run shall enable him/her to be a successful student, a good professional and most of all - a good human being.

DI was one of the best homeschooling experiences we ever had. Not only did my daughter learn how to solve problems, gain critical thinking skills and STEM skills but she gained social skills, learned how to work as a team, the importance of preparation and self-motivation. Couple this with flexing those creative muscles and there is nothing else out there that compares to the experience of Destination Imagination with Urooj and team. The most important ending to it the experience is the confidence gained and friendships that will last forever. No doubt I would do this again.
